- Mash avocados with lime juice until mostly smooth, leaving some small chunks for texture if desired.

- If not serving immediately, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the dip to prevent browning.
Notes
This dip is best served fresh but can be stored for 1-2 days if properly covered with plastic wrap touching the surface to prevent browning. Feel free to adjust the lime juice and seasonings to taste. For variations, try using lemon juice instead of lime, or red onion instead of garlic. The dip pairs well with tortilla chips, fresh vegetables, or as a spread for sandwiches.
