Ingredients
  

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ cup dry buttermilk powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley crumbled
  • ½-¾ teaspoon fine sea salt to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper optional
  • 1 teaspoon dried chives optional
  • 1 pinch dried thyme optional
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper optional, for heat

Method
 

  1. Measure the dry buttermilk powder into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the dried parsley, crumbling it between your fingers to release more flavor.
  3. Add the dried dill, garlic powder, and onion powder to the bowl.
  4. Season with fine sea salt according to your preference.
  5. If using, add the optional ingredients: black pepper, dried chives, dried thyme, and/or cayenne pepper.
  6. Whisk all ingredients together until well combined with no visible streaks of individual spices.
  7. For a finer texture, pulse the mixture in a spice grinder or food processor a few times (optional).
  8. Transfer the seasoning mix to a clean, dry jar with a tight-fitting lid.
  9. Label the jar with the date and any usage instructions.
