Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, spread out the pizza crust until it forms a rectangle.
  3. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, egg yolks, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper to create a flavor-packed paste.
  4. Spread the seasoned oil paste evenly over the pizza dough.
  5. Arrange pepperoni across the dough, then sprinkle with sliced olives and mushrooms.
  6. Drizzle lightly with some of the pizza sauce (reserve most for serving).

Notes

This stromboli is incredibly versatile - feel free to customize with your favorite fillings. Try swapping pepperoni for ham, salami, or BBQ chicken. Not a fan of mushrooms? Substitute bell peppers, spinach, or caramelized onions. For a vegetarian version, load it with roasted vegetables and use pesto instead of sauce.
Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days. Reheat in a 350°F oven for 10 minutes to maintain the crispy exterior.
For a complete meal, serve with a crisp Caesar salad or a light tomato soup.
