Method
- Set your oven to 400°F (205°C) and coat a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
- Slice the halal beef kielbasa into 1-inch rounds and place aside.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, halal Worcestershire sauce, and apple cider vinegar until smooth.
- Add the sliced kielbasa to the bowl and toss thoroughly, making sure each piece is well coated with the glaze.
- Arrange the glazed kielbasa pieces in a single, even layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, turning the pieces halfway through to ensure even caramelization. Serve hot with toothpicks if desired.
Notes
For a different flavor profile, try substituting turkey or pork kielbasa for the beef, or add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the glaze for extra heat. If you don't have halal Worcestershire sauce, a splash of soy sauce makes a good substitute. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3–4 days and are best reheated on a baking sheet in a 350°F oven to restore the glaze's texture. Avoid freezing, as the glaze may separate. Great as an appetizer for parties—serve with extra BBQ sauce, honey mustard, or alongside cheese and crackers.
