Notes

Mixing different apple varieties will create a more complex flavor. Peel the orange fully to prevent bitterness, and gently press the solids in the strainer to maximize yield while keeping the cider clear. Store in the refrigerator for up to five days; the flavor deepens as it sits. For a fun twist, serve with cinnamon rolls, sharp cheddar, or add a splash of bourbon for adults. Freezing isn’t recommended, as the texture and brightness may be affected.
