  • 1/2 cup onion finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups biscuit mix such as Bisquick
  • 16 ounces sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 3 pounds fresh sausage Jimmy Dean or your preferred brand (2 packages)
  • 1/2 cup celery finely chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sausage, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, biscuit mix, chopped celery, chopped onion, and garlic powder.
  3. Using clean hands, thoroughly mix all ingredients until evenly distributed. The mixture will be thick and sticky.
  4. Form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on an ungreased baking sheet, leaving a little space between each.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15 minutes, or until the cheese balls are golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and serve warm.
