Ingredients

For rimming the glass
  • vanilla frosting for the rim
  • sprinkles for the rim
For the martini
  • 1 1/2 ounce vanilla syrup
  • 1 1/2 ounce non-alcoholic Irish cream syrup
  • 2 ounce whole milk
  • 1 ounce non-alcoholic almond syrup
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • ice

Equipment

  • Martini glass
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Shallow dish
  • Small spatula or knife (for spreading frosting)

Method

  1. Coat the rim of a martini glass with vanilla frosting, either by spreading or dipping the rim into the frosting.
  2. Pour sprinkles into a shallow dish, then gently dip the frosted rim into the sprinkles so they stick. Set the prepared glass aside.
  3. Add the vanilla syrup, non-alcoholic Irish cream syrup, whole milk, non-alcoholic almond syrup, powdered sugar, and a generous amount of ice to a cocktail shaker.
  4. Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for at least 15 seconds, until the mixture is well combined and chilled.
  5. Strain the drink into the sprinkle-rimmed martini glass and serve right away.

Notes

To make this drink ahead, mix the liquid ingredients and store them in the fridge for up to a day, but rim the glasses with frosting and sprinkles just before serving so the decorations stay fresh. You can swap in oat, almond, or coconut milk to make it dairy-free—oat milk in particular keeps the drink creamy. For a less sweet martini, lower the vanilla syrup or skip the powdered sugar. Store any leftover drink base in the refrigerator and shake with ice again before serving. This cocktail is best enjoyed fresh, as it doesn’t freeze well.
