  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken rotisserie chicken works well
  • 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup 1 can
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 sleeve buttery round crackers about 30 crackers, crushed
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted (1 stick)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream. Mix until smooth and well-incorporated.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix crushed crackers with melted butter until all crumbs are coated.
  5. Sprinkle the butter-cracker mixture evenly over the chicken layer.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until edges are bubbling and topping is golden brown.
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes
